I've realized in my 29 years of growing, learning, hurting, winning, crying, conquering, falling, discovering, realizing...well, you get the point; None of us are exempt from trials and tribulations. Though no minute preceding the next is absolutely guaranteed, there should be no shame in waking up every morning and armoring yourself for the battle this world may have in store for us.
I believe today will go down in history as one of those days where satan (no capitalization needed... even though spell check is insistent upon it lol) was definitely nearby. It seems as though it was one thing after another, and perhaps it couldn't get any worse.
In hindsight, as always, I have to think about it like this; it's utterly selfish of me to feel as though I have possibly had the worst day. I passed by a man standing in the heat with a cup that read, "Spare some change, save my life". All he needed was some change to turn his life around, and here I am grumpily focused on menial tasks I was hastily assigned, or my reluctance to interact with negative forces on my job.
I believe when satan see's you have not put up your praise protection, he knows it's a heck of alot easier to slide right in and infiltrate your spiritual strength. Focus on what God has for you (I'm talkin' to you and me at the same time), and stop giving satan attention. I am equally as guilty for having given him too much of my attention today, and I'm certain he must have laughed as he sat aside marveling as his tricks came to fruition.
Listen up lucifer; Your lame characteristics don't even afford you the opportunity to move within my circle, so feel honored that you were aloud to get close enough today, because I refuse to give you anymore of my time. It's clear, I'm a child of the most high, therefore, nothing satan does can ever have a lasting affect over my life, nor should it yours.
Life is hard, but God is good!!!! You guessed it...ALL THE TIME!!!!
